Cape Coral’s Invest in America’s Veterans Foundation pays tribute to 9/11 heroes and First Responders while also celebrating its 8th anniversary with the third annual “Parade for Heroes” on SE 47th Terrace. The foundation is pleased to announce that the Grand Marshall for the parade is 9/11 FDNY Ground Zero firefighter Dennis Stagliano. The SW FL Military Museum & Library (which shares the same building with the Foundation) will have an expanded 9/11 display for the public during its free Open House after the event; lunch and entertainment will be available from 12pm-2pm. The parade will feature EMS, military, law enforcement, firefighters, marching bands, decorative vehicles, color guards and floats. Parking is free at the Foundation, 4820 Leonard St.
