First Day Hike – Step Into the New Year

Step into the New Year with us on a guided hike of Estero Bay Preserve State Park! Join JoAnn Luce, a member of the Alligator Amblers Chapter of the Florida Trail Association, as you observe mangroves, saw palmettos, sugar sand, gopher tortoises, and fiddler crabs. Please wear old shoes as there may be a muddy, wet section of trail. Bring water, hat, sun protection, and snacks. The hike will last approximately two hours. There are limited parking spaces in the gravel parking lot, therefore pre-registration REQUIRED at 239-495-7644. The park admission is waived for registered participants
