Village of Estero’s 3rd Anniversary Celebration

Billy Dean & Dawn, one of Southwest Florida’s most versatile musical groups, will be performing pop, rock, Broadway, jazz and country at the Village of Estero’s 3rd anniversary celebration from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m., Friday, March 16, at the Estero Community Park. There will be something for everyone, including face painting, animal balloons, a stilt walker and crafts for children. A variety of local food vendors will be on site for those wishing to purchase food. The party starts at 6 p.m. with time for eating, mingling, dancing and children’s activities. From 6:30 – 7 p.m., there will be a short recognition of Estero’s community leaders and the Estero High School’s Wildcats girls soccer team. Then time for more food, entertainment and dancing. This party is geared to bringing the entire community together in a relaxed, fun atmosphere to celebrate our “new” village. This is not a political activity or a fund raising event. Mark your calendars now to plan on bringing your family, friends and neighbors to help celebrate our very special community. Don’t forget to bring chairs or blankets to sit on. While this is a party for the family, dogs are only allowed in the Dog Park. This special event is sponsored by the Village Council & staff, Estero Council of Community Leaders, Estero Chamber of Commerce, Estero Houses of Worship, Estero Rotary Club and Blue Zones Project. The Village of Estero made history with its first Council meeting three years ago on the evening of March 17, 2015, after numerous incorporation workshops followed by thousands of Estero voters making it known they wanted to become a city.
