"King of the Rock" Golf Tournament Hosted by The Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Club to be held on April 23rd

The second-annual "King of the Rock" Golf Tournament will be hosted by The Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Club on April 23 at The Dunes Golf & Tennis Club.

Registration will begin at 7:30 am and the first players will tee off at 9:30 am.

The tournament welcomes all players of all skill levels. There will be a men's and a women's division. "The men’s division will play a single round of individual gross stroke play, with the Championship Flight playing from the I tees, and other flights playing from the II and III tees. The women’s division will play a single round of individual net stroke, with all flights playing from the IV tees," according to Sanibel-Captiva Island Reporter.

Lunch will follow the tournament, along with prizes and trophies awarded to the top champions.

Proceeds will benefit the 
Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Scholarship Fund, which provides educational assistance to island youths.

The entry fee is $125 and includes 18 holes and range balls.
