The 2026 Southwest Florida Ag Expo is still in progress!  “Come enjoy an exciting lineup of entertainment, exhibits, food, and rides,” says Lee County Government’s Communication Director, Betsy Clayton, APR/CPRC.

The Ag Expo runs from Thursday, Feb. 26, through Sunday, March 8, at Mike Greenwell Regional Park (formerly the Lee County Civic Center Complex), 11831 Bayshore Road, North Fort Myers.

The Ag Expo is exciting for all ages, with favorite carnival rides, tasty food, a petting zoo, livestock shows and sales, exhibits, and live entertainment from Hairdaze! The Amazing 80s Rock Show! from 6-9 pm on Thursday, March 5, to Pure Country from 7-10 pm on Saturday, March 7, to Heat Latin Jazz Band, from 2-5 pm on Sunday, March 8, and more! Check online for gate and other ticket purchases.

The event will also highlight local talent and live demonstrations on the Family Stage inside the Expo Hall. “In addition to scheduled stage performances, guests can enjoy daily strolling entertainers and interactive shows throughout the grounds, offering fun for all ages,” adds Clayton.

Want to get your little ones involved in agriculture?

The expo is a major showcase for local youth involved in agriculture. “You can tour the barns, meet youth exhibitors at their ‘Ask Me’ information booths, and visit the FFA, 4-H, and PeeWees of SWFL displays inside the Expo Hall to learn more,” adds Clayton.

These youth organizations offer wonderful opportunities for those who are interested in agriculture. The FFA prepares members for leadership and careers in the science, business, and technology of agriculture, for ages five to 12. 4-H offers a range of agricultural activities and provides opportunities to build essential lifelong skills for ages five to 19. PeeWees of SWFL is an agriculture-based club for children ages two to seven. Taking care of animals, growing vegetables, and partaking in craft projects are just a few of the ways the young ones learn and grow. Plus, learning about agriculture can help children and young adults in many ways, such as discovering food sources, developing life skills, gaining environmental awareness, learning about sustainable practices, building friendships and much more. So, sign up soon!
