Sunshine Ace Hardware is inviting anglers from across Southwest Florida, including novices and pros, to its fifth Annual Reel in the Sunshine fishing expo on Feb. 8. Reel in the Sunshine will feature educational, interactive fishing seminars led by local fishing captains, vendor-led product demonstrations, food samples, hourly giveaways, and exclusive offers and discounts available only to attendees. Guest speakers will share their expertise about local waterways where fish are biting and what baits to use. For inexperienced anglers, the guides and captains will demonstrate how to properly cast a line into the water, bait a hook and other techniques to make a fishing excursion successful. Guests at the family-friendly event also will enjoy hot-off-the-grill samples cooked by Sunshine Ace’s grill masters. Reel in the Sunshine will support Children’s Miracle Network, which recently announced that Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida has become a CMN hospital. Reel in the Sunshine will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 8 at Sunshine Ace in Bonita Springs, 9100 Bonita Beach Road SE.
