INSIDE THE EARTH: A Koreshan Living History Event

Step back in time with us for an evening filled with music, art, demonstrations, and Koreshan stories. Explore inside of the bakery and other buildings and stroll the gardens lit up at night.

Step back in time as costumed volunteers bring to life the stories of the eclectic pioneers who shaped the Koreshan Unity at the turn of the century. Wander along softly lit pathways that showcase the community’s exotic trees and unique landscape features. Throughout the evening, volunteers will demonstrate historic skills and pioneer activities, and many of the historic buildings will be open for you to explore. Live musicians will be performing in various areas of the park, adding to the atmosphere. Enjoy treats or a warm drink from two on‑site food trucks as you take in the experience. This family‑friendly event offers a wonderful opportunity to learn about the industrious Koreshan settlers and the lasting impact they made on Estero.
