Øya Healing and Wellness Center was established in 2013 on Sanibel Island by Licensed Massage Therapist,Reiki Master, Marit Mouchou.

Øya is Norwegian for "the island." Proprietor Marit Mouchou was born and raised in Norway, and after traveling across Europe and Afrika, she settled on beautiful Sanibel Island in 2006.

Øya was established to be a unique alternative to the traditional spa experience. With a focus on healing, Øya offers relaxation and deep tissue massage, reflexology, and reiki. Healing touch that connects body and mind.
