Youth Summer Cooking Series
at the Sanibel Community House's Culinary Education Center
Students 10-15 years old will be offered a very special summer option Monday, July 10 - Friday, July 14 from 10 am to 1pm. Join us for an exciting week of cooking in our new Culinary Education Center! Expand your appreciation of taste and flavor with sophisticated menus and fabulous recipes. Learn from a professional chef how to create meals that are delicious, healthy, and guaranteed to impress. Perhaps your new culinary skills will lead you to becoming the next Junior Chef! $175 per person includes lunch of what you have made. An example Day 1 (Knife Skills, Weights and Measures) Menu: Shrimp Summer Rolls and Peanut Dipping Sauce, Thai Chicken Salad and Soy Ginger Dressing, Pear and Apple Spring Rolls! Delicious! Day 2 (Bread, Pasta & Rice) Menu: Grilled Vegetables & Unleavened Flatbread, Three Cheese Ravioli & Alfredo Sauce, Risotto of Smoked Salmon, Asparagus & Peas and then Caramel Eclairs ?lled with Lemon Cream!
