The Sanibel Fire District will offer complimentary blood pressure screening at the Sanibel Recreation Center on Monday, September 11th from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. High blood pressure increases the risk of stroke, heart attack, heart failure, kidney disease and even blindness in some cases. The Sanibel Fire District’s complimentary screenings are offered as a first step in determining if further examination by a health care professional is necessary.
